2008-05-05- Kingston, ON - Danny Morgan of the Pictou County Weeks Crushers in the MJHL has comitted to joining the Queen's Golden Gaels for the 2008-2009 Season
2008-04-29- Kingston, ON - Gaels Forward Brady Olsen has signed a one-year contract with the Rapid City Rush in the 'AA' Pro Central Hockey League.
2008-04-23- Vancouver - Former Queen's Golden Gaels men's hockey coach Mike Gillis has been hired as the next General Manager of the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks. The 49-year old Gillis coached the Gaels for one season in 1985-86.
2008-04-03- Kingston, Ont. - Queen's University men's hockey head coach Brett Gibson has announced the addition of five new players who will suit up for the Golden Gaels in 2008-09. The newcomers for 2008-09 include four members of the Kingston Voyageurs who are coming off an outstanding run at the Provincial Junior 'A' level earning a berth in the East Division Final.
2008-03-12- Kingston, ON - The Gaels formally capped off the end of the season on Friday with the end of year banquet. Team awards were handed out, aswell as all of the graduating players being given their grad gifts.
